How do I obtain a UETS address?

There are two methods.

1. From the PTT post office
To obtain a UETS address from the PTT you will need to provide your passport, your foreign identification number (Yabanci Kimlik Number (YKN)), mobile number, a valid email address, and a completed UETS application form.

The form can be downloaded from the PTT UETS website.

2. Online for electronic signature owners
You can apply through the official websitean follow the registration instructions via e-devlet.

First, activate two-factor authentication on the e-devlet website by login into your profile.
Click on the profile icon at the top of your name, select the tab “Güvenlik ve Ayarlar”; then “İki Aşamalı Giriş İşlemleri”
Change the status to “Aktif” and choose your verification method: mail or phone number.

Second, register on the website PTT UETS website and complete the required information.
Visit the site PTT UETS webite, select the e-devlet tab and login with your e-devlet login.
You will be taken to the registration tab to enter your residential address (in Turkish), phone number, email, and your profession (some fields may already be completed).

Lastly to receive UETS, Click on your name at the top, select the “Hesap Bilgileri” tab.
Find and click on the “Sözleşmeler” tab.
Opposite “Hesap Bilgileri” there will be a blue button “Bilgileri Yazdir”, click it and print/download the document to a PDF.
The document will also be sent to the registered email address, but it is recommended that you print/download the document (just in case there are any issues with the email sending or receiving systems).
