Shopping in İzmir

Well I have to say what an eye-opener it is shopping in İzmir… So different than our little local town.

One of my favourite places was İzmir Agora Mall.

For one it had a Starbucks, one of my most favourite places to visit, and a decent sized Marks and Spencers with reasonably discounted products, and if you download their app and become an online member you get extra discounts too… I like the lingerie section as their garments last so much longer and are better quality. I speak from experience as when leaving school many moons ago I worked in a Marks and Spencers clothesmaking factory, my first ever item made was Velvet Jackets, and then the Duffle Coat amongst others.

Another shopping centre, actually quite close to Agora AVM i can highly recommend is İstinye Park İzmir.

Of course and why not 😊 this too has a Starbucks and a Marks and Spencers.

We stayed in a hotel in Çankaya with easy access to the Metro, Tram and Train systems. Can get a bit up close and personal during peak times 😁
