Registering an Imported Mobile Phone in Turkey

Registration Deadline

Imported phones must be registered within 120 days of entering Turkey.

Registration is required every 3 years for continued use.

Obtain an e-Devlet Account

e-Devlet (e-Government) is the official online portal for government services in Turkey.

You need to create or have an existing e-Devlet account to proceed with registration.

Pay the Registration Fee

The registration fee can be paid online through the Tax Office website or via the e-Devlet portal.

Payment of this fee is mandatory to complete the registration.

Complete the Registration Online

After payment, complete the phone registration process via the e-Devlet platform.

You will need to provide details such as your phone’s IMEI number and personal identification.

Additional Notes

The registration fee is often referred to as the “IMEI registration fee” or “use permit fee.”

Failure to register the phone within the 120-day period may result in the phone being blocked from use on Turkish mobile networks.

This process applies to all foreign phones brought into Turkey, whether for personal use or longer stays.
