New Highway Traffic Regulation

The Highway Traffic Regulation was amended and the new regulation came into force today. According to the new articles added to the regulation, protective equipment such as gloves and glasses have become mandatory for bicycle, motorcycle, tractor and electric bicycle users. Tractor users will now wear glasses, and those sitting in the back of the motorcycle will wear glasses and gloves.

On bicycles, electric bicycles, motor bicycles, motorcycles and T3 category tractors produced after 2001 (except those protected by three-wheeled freight motorcycles and bodywork), drivers were required to wear protection heads and protection glasses.
