In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Justice, the Union of Turkish Notaries is implementing a new generation of authentication system in order to prevent the use of false identity in notary transactions and to prevent citizens from experiencing victimization. In this way, it is aimed to prevent theft of identity and fraudulent identity.

In the solution working with the Electronic Authentication System (EKDS) infrastructure, it was reported that biometric data was not transferred to any server, recorded or stored; verification was carried out instantly on the device. With this method, it is emphasized that both transaction security is increased and the unnecessary processing of personal data is prevented.
Dissemination of System
It was reported that the system, which came up with the official letter of the Union of Turkish Notaries dated August 11, 2026, operates with the necessary Common Criteria and TSE Compliance documents within the framework of the EKDS Regulation of the Ministry of Interior.
