TÜİK Announces June Inflation Figures
Turkey’s official inflation data for June has been released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), showing a monthly inflation rate of 0.99% and an annual inflation rate of 32.11%.

The figures were closely watched by businesses, investors, and consumers as they provide another snapshot of price developments in the Turkish economy. In May, the monthly inflation rate had been recorded at 1.71%.

ENAG Reports Higher Inflation
The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) also published its independent inflation estimates for June 2026.

According to ENAG’s Consumer Price Index (E-TÜFE), prices increased by 1.94% compared with the previous month. The group calculated annual inflation at 51.49%, considerably higher than the official figures released by TÜİK.

The difference between official and independent inflation measurements continues to attract attention among economists and market observers.
