Process to replace a uk driving licence
Disclaimer: The rules for exchanging a driving licence can change. We will try to keep this information up to date, but we recommend checking the latest requirements.

Here is the process to replace a UK driving licence with a Turkish driving licence based on available information (according to Enjoy Turkish Living):

Residency Requirement
You must be a resident in Turkey to apply for exchanging your UK driving licence for a Turkish one.

Required Documents
Original UK driving licence.
Notarized or certified translation of the UK driving licence into Turkish (if the licence is not in Turkish).
Proof of identity (passport or Turkish ID (Yabancı Kimlik No)).
Passport-sized photographs (usually biometric).
Residency permit or proof of residence in Turkey.
Completed application form for driving licence exchange (available at Turkish traffic offices or online).

Application Submission
Submit your application and documents to the local Turkish Traffic Registration Office (Trafik Tescil Şube Müdürlüğü) or the relevant Provincial Directorate of Traffic.
Some provinces may allow online application submission or appointment booking.

Health Report
Obtain a health report from an authorized health institution in Turkey confirming that you are fit to drive.

Fees
Pay the required fee for the licence exchange process. The fee varies but is generally affordable.

Processing Time
The processing time can vary from a few days to a few weeks depending on the local office.

Licence Issuance
Once approved, you will be issued a Turkish driving licence that replaces your UK licence.
The Turkish licence will be valid according to Turkish regulations and may have a different validity period than your UK licence.

Additional Notes:
Some categories of licences may require additional tests or procedures.
It is important to check the latest regulations or any bilateral agreements between the UK and Turkey regarding licence exchange.
If your UK licence is expired or invalid, you may need to take a driving test in Turkey.

This process ensures that your UK driving licence is officially recognized and replaced by a Turkish driving licence, allowing you to drive legally in Turkey. For the most accurate and updated information, contacting the local Turkish traffic authorities or embassy is recommended.

I might have missed it but I seen nothing about having a education certificate. To enable  you to apply for replacement from English to Turkish.

Or has that rule stopped?

I have just lost my  English licence
