Tagged: DIDIM Hospital
I had to visit the A&E department at the newly opened DIDIM Devlet Hastanesi, and the experience was pleasant and quite easy, little English spoken on their side and Turkish spoken from us.
All employees were friendly and accommodating. Once the system is understood, it’s quite straightforward. Our experience:
First stop to Triage room let them know the problem, they fill in patient complaint on a form which you then take to the cash desk who take form and Kimlik card, and processes the request, we have SGK so makes this quite easy, he gives you a queue number and wait for number to be displayed on screen. Once number is shown, into a another room we go where another, as we now know was the Doctor, assesses you asks what injuries you have etc, he then personally took us through to the treatment room where a nurse took care of me, the Doctor came to check the nurses preparation for treatment of my injury. They then sent me to X-ray, I rang a bell someone popped out I shouted ACİL, they did the X-ray sent me back to Doctor all clear, signed me off the system and we left.
İmpressive took just over an hour from start to finish.
System has improved and the hospital is nice, as it’s brand new.
