Is there a plugin to allow members to 'mention' another user?

Normally shows as '@username'.

[admin]

Just type @ followed by the user name.....there is no option to show the name as you type.

Simple Mentions:
Type @Username (e.g., @JohnDoe).

Names with Spaces: Use quotes or backticks for names containing spaces:
Type @"Complex Username"
Type @'Complex Username'
Type @`Complex Username`
